In 2016, Thailand highly praised the "one government, one characteristic agricultural product" project proposed by the state in 2007. Under the policy of "Thailand 4.0" promoted by the Bayu government, namely, vigorously developing high value-added industries, a total of 200 departments of 137 small and medium-sized enterprises participated in the project, involving rice, cassava, seafood, vegetables, fruits and other important agricultural products, and with the active cooperation of local farmers, in 2016 Thailand's agricultural products processing industry has an economic income of 3.26 billion baht

The Ministry of finance of Thailand has also set up a special team of personnel to assist the project progress in the "one government, one characteristic agricultural product" project. It has carried out overall planning in seven aspects of logistics, production, efficiency improvement, labor force, cost, product quality, market policy and finance, so as to form a perfect supply chain system for agricultural products processing industry, in which each link brings huge benefits to varying degrees.
